Kreps DeMaria had a lot to celebrate last year – including being named the top PR firm in Miami by readers of the Daily Business Review – and as 2016 gets into full swing and our New York office on Madison Ave opens, we again have cause to celebrate with news that our president, Sissy DeMaria, has been honored as one of the Top Women in PR by industry authority, PR News.
After a national search and evaluation of industry leaders, Sissy was bestowed the honor by impressing judges with the success of her prior and current communications campaigns as well as the depth and breadth of her experience, expertise, contributions to the advancement of our firm and also the community. Sissy will be honored on January 26, 2016, at a luncheon at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.
Sissy inspires us all here in the office each day – from reading every national and local newspaper before 6am, to creating initiatives that have propelled our award-winning firm to be recognized as the fifth largest in South Florida.
Her many achievements include having the vision to form WorldWise PR Affiliates, a global network of fifteen PR firms, and creating highly effective public relations campaigns, crisis communications tactics and out of the box events for a diverse corporate and lifestyle clientele.
The poised PR powerhouse also has a big heart and has been very active in the community chairing the 2014 Coral Gables Community Foundations black tie gala and is currently chairing a 1,000 person luncheon in April – The Power of the Purse. In 2013, Sissy paired her love of horses with philanthropy to form Give a Buck for Special Equestrians. The nonprofit organization encourages horse owners to make a small donation – as little as a buck or as much as they can – with their monthly board payments to support therapeutic riding programs for children and veterans with physical and mental disabilities.
Congratulations Sissy! We couldn’t be more proud of all your accomplishments.
