AMANERA RESIDENCES

Dolphin Capital, global investors in the residential resort sector, including the Amanzoe Resort in Greece, began a multi-phased development of a parcel of oceanfront land on Playa Grande – sited along the coast of the Dominican Republic.  The centerpiece: Amanera resort, the first golf-integrated Aman in the world. The primary objective for our firm: Market the ultra-high-end residences within the property, the Amanera Villas, ranging from two- to six-bedroom homes.  When we began working with Dolphin Capital, the Amanera Villas were still in development and had not yet been constructed (the resort, the first structure to be built, was in the final phases of completion).  Despite not having tangible assets for press tours, etc., we set out to garner traction for the lifestyle that would be offered at Amanera, the standout qualities of the renovated Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course, and the considerable value being presented by these ocean-facing luxury homes.  We developed key press materials, media Q&A’s, and pitched the residential offerings to top luxury outlets.  A New York press tour was additionally facilitated, where Kreps PR took the developer on deskside meetings to outlets like Financial Times and CNBC. Traction began to mount for the Amanera Villas, as KPR secured coverage in The Wall Street Journal, a range of top golf publications, such as Links Magazine and Golfweek, and national as well as Miami-based media, which had a pool of target buyers.  Dolphin Capital ultimately sold the property within a year of our collaborative efforts, thus successfully ending the focus on the residences.

ART MIAMI

Art Miami is one of the nation’s premier contemporary and modern art fairs and the longest-running satellite art fair in Miami. The week-long event maintains a preeminent position in America's modern and contemporary art fair market and is globally recognized as a primary destination for the acquisition of the most important works from the 20th and 21st centuries.  Our team initially helped re-launch Art Miami in 2008 when Nick Korniloff took the helm.  That multi-faceted, two-year collaboration involved outreach to national and international press, the development and dissemination of daily press materials, creation/management of a VIP invite list and host committee, coordination with participating international art galleries, development of marketing materials, facilitating on-site interviews, and more.  Beyond that deep-rooted relationship, Kreps PR, having a keen appreciation for the synergies between fine art and high-end real estate, orchestrated a multi-year partnership between Art Miami and Christie’s International Real Estate – our client at the time – as the exclusive luxury real estate sponsor of the fair…marquee-level exposure in front of back-to-back record-breaking crowds, comprising art collectors, curators, celebrities, and VIPs.  Not only was our team able to garner significant press coverage surrounding the partnership, but we secured Christie’s International Real Estate a front-of-the-fair location for its lavish booth, and arranged for the network to host private, 200-plus-guest cocktail parties in Art Miami’s VIP lounge.  The collaboration was hailed as one of the most unique “networking” opportunities for brokers and their clientele.

All Driftwood Capital funds benefit from the principals’ affiliation with Driftwood Hospitality Management, which currently manages over 80 full- and limited-service hotels with more than 15,000 rooms across 22 states, and is regarded as a longstanding industry leader and best-in-class operator.  Kreps PR oversees all of Driftwood Capital and Driftwood Hospitality Management’s public relations initiatives and press outreach, which has resulted in a slew of feature stories in national outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Forbes, among many others.

HOMESERVICES OF AMERICA

As Berkshire Hathaway’s residential real estate arm, our firm represented HomeServices of America for nearly two decades, working lockstep with its Minneapolis-based leadership team as the company grew to become the nation’s largest brokerage-owned provider of real estate settlement services.  Kreps PR long served as HomeServices’ press center, handling news outreach for all major mergers and acquisitions, full-court press tours, and highly in-depth market analysis on behalf of its leaders.  Our team ensured that then-President & CEO Ron Peltier was seen as a definitive voice on the national housing market, making regular appearances on live broadcast programs and sit-down interviews – including CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” FOX Business, Bloomberg Television – and a trusted source among digital and print outlets, from The Wall Street Journal and the Associated Press to Inman News.  On October 29, 2012, in the grips of Superstorm Sandy, our firm executed a nationwide communication campaign as HomeServices of America entered the franchising business, acquiring a majority interest in the Prudential Real Estate and Real Living brands from Brookfield Asset Management.  Despite the extreme circumstances, the outreach was a resounding success, with stakeholders well-informed and thousands of media impressions generated.

LIFE TIME

Publicly-traded Life Time is one of the nation’s most revered luxury health clubs.  Our firm has handled the brand’s marketing and public relations programs throughout Florida, including the opening of its first-ever Miami location, which features an 80,000-square-foot athletic resort, a 25,000-square-foot Life Time Work, and 495 plush condominium residences and penthouses.  Kreps PR additionally worked with Life Time on the grand opening of its second Miami location, Life Time at The Falls, which included the oversight of press interviews, media and influencer experiences and preview tours, community relations, and other unique events and experiences, generating widespread buzz about the club opening.  Life Time at The Falls was also a first-of-its-kind for Miami’s shopping scene, given the 14-story, 1.2 million-square-foot athletic club’s location inside an open-air mall.  Kreps PR additionally planned and organized the 2022 opening of Life Time’s Palm Beach Gardens location, garnering significant media coverage and social media engagement among area influencers.

MDM HOTELS GROUP

MDM Hotels Group is one of Marriott’s most respected hotel-owning companies. Throughout more than 20 years of representing the enterprise, our firm has been instrumental in generating awareness for MDM’s visionary projects, many of which have pioneered development across Miami’s urban core.  Kreps PR oversaw the launch of MDM’s $1 billion Metropolitan Miami project in downtown Miami – spotlighting its magnitude while spearheading a media relations campaign to attract users.  We were also part of the team that created and capitalized on the name “The Met,” focusing on a number of firsts within the project, including famed chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud’s first venture outside New York at the time.  In 2010, within The Met, MDM Hotels Group opened the JW Marriott Marquis Miami – a showplace Marquis property for the Marriott world and the definitive business/conference property in downtown Miami. With Brickell established, downtown Miami still lagged in a number of areas, so this was an important piece of the puzzle for the market.  Because of the historic nature of the location, KPR needed to mix mediums, blending classic elements with more cutting-edge components. We had the award-winning Miami Symphony Orchestra playing Bolero as the doors to the event slowly opened, while also spotlighting a number of more futuristic features within the building, like an NBA-approved basketball court.  Bill Marriott, who was on site that day, said it was one of the most compelling hotel openings he had ever attended.

MIDTOWN MIAMI

Defining the new Miami urban core, Midtown Miami is now one of the region’s most iconic neighborhoods. From its humble start as FEC Railroad land, our firm launched Midtown from concept to completion, at the time playing an instrumental role in putting this emerging neighborhood on the map. Like all major real estate developments across the nation, Midtown Miami was impacted by the 2008 recession.  As new teams acquired different facets of select marquis projects, our firm was engaged by a new investment group that acquired most of the remaining residential units in the post-2008 recession era, and we were able to re-align Midtown’s positioning, furthering its trajectory as one of Miami’s most compelling emerging neighborhoods.

ONCE UPON A KITCHEN

In 2019, GR8 Group, a leading international agency for VIP travel and luxury events, elected to move their bucket list-worthy epicurean extravaganza, Once Upon a Kitchen, from New York City to Miami.  Headlining the event was a quartet of international culinary masters: Massimo Bottura (Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy), Mauro Colagreco (Mirazur in Menton, France), Alex Atala (D.O.M. in São Paulo, Brazil), and Antonio Bachour (Bachour locations in Miami, Florida).  The dinner had been strategically moved to the first Sunday in December, kicking off Miami Art Week.  Our team worked lock-in-step with GR8 Group to build out the Miami edition with a series of new and unique partnerships, high-profile attendees, pre-event gatherings, special activations, and coverage by top culinary critics and influencers. The dinner was an overwhelming success and a sold-out affair, packed with the “who’s who” from top markets worldwide.  Our contacts in the luxury sector are deep-rooted, so we were able to shore up interest among Miami’s 1% (those living in the city and visiting during Art Week from New York, South America, and beyond), resulting in multiple tables purchased by these elite individuals as well as sponsorships by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, W South Beach, etc.  From Robb Report to Forbes and Food & Wine, press outlets covered the dinner with pre- and post-event articles, adding to the momentum and excitement among attendees – as well as a jubilant decision by the organizers to continue hosting the dinner in Miami.

RESIDENCES BY ARMANI/CASA

The 60-story Armani/Casa-branded condominium tower was one of the nation’s great luxury residential real estate collaborations, as a partnership between The Armani Group, The Related Group, and Dezer Development.  From the launch of its opulent oceanfront sales center through myriad events and activations, our firm secured top-tier media on a global scale for this first-to-market branded high-rise.  Our public relations strategy furthermore positioned South Florida at the forefront of the branded residence trend, where Armani was among the first fashion houses to make a debut in U.S. real estate development.  To draw awareness to the growing trend, Kreps PR arranged press trips for top-tier journalists to visit South Florida and witness firsthand how the introduction of brand partnerships had changed the face and value of the region’s real estate industry.  The customized press experiences were extremely successful in positioning South Florida as the epicenter for branded real estate in the U.S., with national and international press outlets such as the Associated Press, Bloomberg, the Financial Times, Agence France-Presse, Robb Report, New York Post, Women’s Wear Daily, DuJour, The Real Deal, and The Wall Street Journal, among others, profiling the high-end real estate, high-end retail phenomenon.

It will include 75 private Ranchos residences, along with a first-to-market Six Senses hotel and Six Senses-branded residences.  XALA aims to be the lowest-density development project ever carried out in Mexico, with less than 20% of its 3,000 acres of land being developed.  With a deep respect and commitment to the environment and existing communities, XALA’s development team is restoring nearly 590 acres of land, creating a private protected natural area of more than 1,200 acres, including five miles of turtle sanctuaries, and leading in the recovery and restoration of the Chalacatepec and Xola-Paraman estuaries – wetlands protected by UNESCO due to the significant role they play for migratory birds. The firm is helping to shape the narrative for what is clearly one of the world’s most unique, socially and environmentally conscious communities.
